Dog eats and eats and eats. Please Help and take a read!?

Question

My dog never stops eating, shes a dalmation. She just pesters us and wont allow us to go to sleep on a night just because of food. She gets fed 2 cup fulls (enough), and at the moment weighs 29kg when should weigh 20kg. She gets tons of excersize, its the eating issue.

Any advice?

Maybe since she gets a lot of exercisee you can feed her more food. It would be differentt if you didn'tt walk her a lot. She should be fine with feeding her more.

I have a bullmastiff that really likes to eat and would eat all day if I let her.  She will bug me at night to feed her again.  I have found that feeding her 2 times a day instead of just once helped.  Feed your dog the same amount, just break it into 2 meals.

I heard on "It's Me or the Dog" that Dalmations have a thing where they are always hungry.  Maybe you should talk to a vet or nutritionist and see what you can do.

EDIT:  Hey that is totally true.  I just watched the episode again.  Dalamations have unconrollable appitites and can eat until they are sick if you let them.

What kind of food is it? If it's cheapy then it's no good. Cheap food lacks alot of vitamins and nutrients and can make the dog want to continuously eat because they are craving those nutrients they need. Also, is her belly swollen looking? She could have worms. Check her stool after she's gone potty outside. Worms eat off the food in their intestines and make them want to keep eating.
