There are several reasons for exessive salivation in dogs, a dog who plays alot and exerts alot of energy and effort, finds it hard to breathe, and his breathing becomes too rapid turning his saliva in to a foam. If a dog gets a nasty taste in his mouth, it can develop foam that keeps flowing out of its mouth. Nausea is also one factor that leads to exessive salivation in dogs. Its always adviceable to seek the expert opinion of a vet in such cases. So, its better that you take your dog to a vet for a better solution.
