My dog had Cushing's had to rush him to the vet because he couldn't stand up was vomiting clear and yellow fluid. He was straining to go to the bathroom, we thought he had diahhrea but was actually passing nothing. He was being treated for a deep pyoderma- started as a hot spot the size of a quarter turned into an infection about 8 inches long along the back of his neck. Vet said his electrolytes were off the charts-life threatning and she thinks he had a blood clot to the lung. We had to put the poor dog down. He was being treated for Cushing's very successfully and then he started to lose his muscles in his legs. He had stopped eating and drinking the night before we took him to the vet. We thought it was from his antibiotics. Wanted to know if an abdominal ultrasound would show if the dog had a blockage or could of had been impacted from being constipated?
