Dog humping stuffed animal Platypus?

Question

Uh, well, my rescue ( Bella ) has recently taken to humping a Stuffed Animal Platypus.

I know it sounds pretty weird.

I know that female dogs will hump eachother as a Dominence thing.

But, why in the world would she hump a Stuffed animal Platypus?

it's normal..dogs are weird. every dog i've ever had humped my stuffed animals..

it's just like any other bad behavior..catch her in the middle of it and correct it.

Because it's fun?

Distract her when she does that.  Do like a boop boop boop noice just to get her to stop doing that.

This is what my Vet told me to do

when she is humping (you have to catch her) take her by the back of the neck and push her head down to the floor so that her head is lower than her butt and say loudly "No No No" three or four times

you are telling her in a way that she will understand that it is not ok you are saying that you are the "boss" and not her.

if you do not stop her now get ready for her to do this all of the time and she will start to do it to more and more objects.

  My first dog, a Yorkie, did this many years ago.  We had this stuffed beaver hand puppet, he would curl up with it & nap, beat it up a little and such.

  One day, out of nowhere, he ripped the teeth off of ol' beav, and started humping the head, surfing the rug in circles while riding the beaver.  Never did this with any other stuffed toys, just the beaver, weird little dog.
