  1. try giving her some plain rice with plain cut up chicken or hamburger meat in it for a few days.  also walk her on a leash outside for a few days so she doesn't eat any more grass.

  2. u might want to contact ur vet if u r really concerned but dogs eat grass to HELP themselves throw up

  3. Firstly my dog doesnt drink milk cuz she gets diahorrea and secondly grass wouldnt be the reason for her vomiting.

  4. grass is how they get their ruffage (perfecly normal)

the blood is kind of worrying though (not so normal)

and milk is not good for them!!!

  5. starve her for 24 hours then feed her bland food like chicken and rice. she probably got an upset tummy and wants to be sick to feel better.

  6. Blood in her vomit? See a vet

When dogs eat grass they vomit but nobody knows if they eat grass to make themselves vomit or if they vomit because they feel like eating grass

  7. Dogs eat grass to help themselves throw up! So maybe she has a poorly tummy and the Milk is irritating it as milk is heavy on your tummy! Try giving her just water and her biscuit for a few days and see does the vomiting ease off or stop! If it worsens or remains the same then bring her to a vet!

  8. There's something majorly wrong with her digestive system - blood is a bad sign and she should be seen by a vet immediately.

  9. Dogs eat grass as a way to clense their bellies,  if they feel dodgy stomach they will eat grass which will make them vomit, this is their littloe way of dealing with dodgy gut, but if she is refusing to eat and there is blood in her vomit i suggest you call you vet indmediatly, my dogue de burdeaux started liek that and it ended up in £1,500 trip to the vet for xrays, blood tests and an emergency operation as she had swollen a rubber ball and was obstructing her intestine, please do not waste time, it could be something awfull.

  10. Grass to a dog is like a natural medicine.  Your dog must have an upset stomach and mother nature is a funny old bird.  The dog instinctivly knows to eat it, they throw up and it cleans the stomach out.

  11. her stomach is upset. animals like cats and dogs eat grass so that they can vomit.take her to a vet.there isn't anything to be upset about, its normal.

  12. Take her to the vet.

  13. You shouldn't worry too much - dogs do eat grass sometimes and the majority of times they do so to make themselves sick. Usually this is because there's an irritant in the stomach (not necessarily what we might think would irritate them, though) and eating grass and making themselves sick typically helps get rid of it.

The blood is a little concerning - it shouldn't really be present in the vomit. If she continues to throw up and produce blood as well you should consider taking her to the vets just to make sure there isn't anything really nasty there.

  14. milk can cause digestion issues so that may be it

also dogs cannot digest grass so when they feel bad (like theres something in their stomach that they don't want there) they eat grass to make them self throw up it their way of clearing out their system.

your dogs stomach is probably upset so you should call your vet and see wut they say they may want you to bring the dog in so they can look at them

  15. I heard that if a dog eats grass it means it has an upset stomach.

Not sure how true that is but think you should take her vets if she is vomiting blood.

  16. They do it to make themselves sick, aslong as they dont eat plants its ok i guess. She could have something in her stomach that she wants to get out like a battery. If there is nothing in the sick take her to the vet.

  17. Some dogs eat grass because their stomach is upset other like the taste of it.

if you are concerned contact your vet.

  18. You need to take him to vet because usually when that happens it means there sick in a way.

  19. Eating grass can mean all is not well in her tummy or she just enjoys eating it. I think a vet visit would be best.

  20. Blood in her vomit doesn't sound good. Take her for a check-up, better safe than sorry.

Generally the eating grass and throwing up isn't a worry, or even being off her food for a day or so, as long as she has fresh water available and is drinking the water (skip the milk), most dogs do it from time to time. Mine's normally ravenous the next day! It's not normal to have blood in the vomit though, so best to get her checked.
