  1. try getting a oatmeal shampoo and letting it stay on her for 15 min that may help or a baking soda soak in water. what stuff do u put on every 3 months they are usually once a month

  2. it could be a skin prob so may be worth letting the vet have  a look

its really good that you use spot on every month but if the eggs have got on to the carpet or bedding or her bedding then they can hatch and the whole cycle starts again. so the best thing is to spray the house with VETKEM (from a vets) and if shes still itching then you can rule out fleas!

p.s some chemists sell frontline spot on now and it can be a lot cheaper than buying from a vets!

  3. Your dog could have a skin condition or sensitive skin. If you bath them too much then this can make them itch. Or it could be ticks, and your partner may not have seen anything as these are much smaller than fleas. Look on the web for some websites to help.

  4. go over every inch of her with a flea comb just so you can definitly rule fleas out.she could have developed an allergy or dermatitus.YOU DONT SAY WHAT BREED SHE IS AS SOME BREEDS ARE MORE PRONE to itchy skin than others.our westy has been tortured with itchy skin since 4 months old.i would bath her in baby shampoo.it could be something simple like an allergy to something new she has eaten.if it gets any worse i would see vet because my dog lost her hair.GOODluck.

  5. Still sounds like fleas to me.

  6. my 8 year old cat got fleas for the first time last year, i used spot on for cats an found it useless.i got some frontline that was brilliant worked straight the way
