Dog separation anxiety help?

you all know what it is. my dog follows me around a little to much so would this contribute to it? i know pack leader blahblah

Yes your dog follows you around, all dogs do that, but do you know for sure he has separation anxiety?  Does he spend any time at all alone.  If so, how does he act when left alone?
