Dog spots on legs? Look like chickenpox?

My dog has got a cut on the pad on his front leg, this happened at the sand dunes on Sunday. Yesterday I noticed little spots under the skin on both of his front legs they seem quite itchy and he is l*****g them alot, he has about 3 on each front leg, Yesterday they felt just like blisters but today they have gone more scabbed. They look like some sort of bite or maybe infection from the front cut pad. Is there anything that I can be doing to help them or does he have to visit the vet. Was planning on waiting till Friday to see if they went on their own. He has frontline on his neck every six weeks so can't be flea bites.

  1. I would suggest taking him to the vets as soon as possible. Or at least phone them up in order to gain professional advice. Better to be safe than sorry.

  2. could also be an allergy to something, youd be surpirsed at the number of grass allergies for dogs..

a vet would be a good thing, try some internet research for allergies / infections for dogs...

    good luck

  3. Could be chiggers or another type of mite or parasite that burrows under the skin. Definitely hit the vet, it could get worse if there's something in there laying eggs.

  4. go to the vet his legs could get badly infected

  5. i use front line on my cat but if i left it 6 weeks she would have fleas again, when i was bitten by a flea i had a allergic reaction that would swell and blister, try fleaing again at 5 weeks
