I have a Boston that was born the first week of May. When she goes to pee there is a while discharge that drips after she is done. Has anyone ever heard of a dog having a bladder infection? Is there a home remedy or is this a vet trip?

  1. my puppy just got over that.all you have to do is take her to the vet and they will prescribe her some antibiotics.she should be cured in as little as 1-2 weeks.

  2. if you think it is a bladder infection this calls for a vet trip for tests and antibiotics.

  3.    Both males and female often have a discharge esp after peeing but it is a good idea to have a vet check it out. I rescued a Dobe s/f that had quite a white/green sticky mucus and since I use Vit C on all my dogs that cleared it up. UTI are fairly common in dogs and Vit C helps prevent them but you do need to use antibiotics to clear it up first..

  4. This is a vet trip. I have had dogs with bladder infections, and the vet put them on antibiotics. You probably want to take her soon  because bladder infections can be very uncomfortable.

  5. My dog had the same thing happen, and when we went to the vet, they just told us to put cranberry juice in her water. It helps.
