  1. It sounds like your dog is bored as well as anxious , try to seperate the dogs and give your dog plenty of toys eg an old football or even an old tyre hanging from a tree on a rope and put a bone in the tyre so the dog has to jump up to get it , do not make it to high as this will cause other problems . Also when he is naughty do not play with him , when he is good give him a special treat and play with him , he needs to go for walks and he needs an area that is just his , as for him pooping every where then you will have to encourage him by treats etc to do it in one spot ,You can not train a dog well if you have no idea of how . whether he be a puppy or an adult dog , I wish you luck but I think that if you own a dog then you have to be prepared to spend money on them ,. What do you do if your dog is hurt by a car or another dog , ?

  2. Maybe ask your vet for advice.  It could just be boredom rather than separation anxiety...try taking him for a long walk every day to release some of his pent up tension and energy.  If you take him in the mornings he might spend the rest of the day lazing around.

  3. hi,

The term gets tossed around casually, but separation anxiety is a very serious matter. True separation anxiety is your dog's panicked response to being left alone. The results--including the destruction of your belongings and the deterioration of your dog's mental and physical health--can be devastating.

    hope this helps.

  4. Crate train them. If you don't have the time to spend with them, either leave them outside, or teach them to stay in a crate inside.  They will learn to hold their business in because otherwise they'll lie in their own filth.  I've never crate trained but it's reportedly very successful.
