  1. my brothers cat went like that just after a fitting seizure befoe she would also drule, sometimes pee and here teeth would chatter, she had a calcium deficiency.

you may want to take him to another vet just for a second opinion.

has it had a scan to check its brain as it could be a nurologacle prob.

  2. Try a different vet for a second opinion and in the meantime look up the symptoms online to find info

  3. go to the vet.if this is strange behaviour.that is not normal.something is wrong try the vet.

  4. I would ask your vet for further tests, this sounds like it should be investigated especially if its not normal for YOUR dog. My dogs stare into space occasionally but they arent ill just dimbos at times. Yours sounds like its either a stroke or heart related, possibly even intestinal, follow your instincts! Best of luck, hope he's ok xx

  5. This behaviour sounds like seizures to me.

The dog doesn't have to fall over and convulse to be having a seizure.

Sometimes just a blank look can be a seizure.

Your vet should be able to prescribe anti-seizure medication .

This is not all that uncommon.
