  1. For a start, if you do not have money at all. You deliver things in close distant, like DBS main to OCBC main, charges need to be competitive but not too low, cause you want to maintain good and efficient image; that will need extra motivation. Next work hard enough to make sure all time is occupy. Employ assistant; cheap and good ones, like student that is willing to work even in McDonald rate, China or Malaysia workers. Then you build from there.

  2. You can always work for a courier company. Ask anyone of them if there are any vacancies.

  3. Few problem need to be consider....

    1. The type of service, within 1 hour , 2 hour, 3 hour or same day delivery.

Some company charging as low as $4 per cover now, profitable?

    2. Manpower, 3 or more?

Assume just 1 or 2 ppl,

1 at Tuas & the other at Changi.

Town area have a 1 hour svc assignment to sent, how?

Or accident, leave and MCs .

    3. Overhead, normally 30 days term (may delay also) but you need to give salary end of the every month.

    4. Oil price, ERP etc.

    5. Many more....

Feel free to email me if need to know more.

  4. What kind of delivery are you planning to do?

Transportation cost in Singapore can be quite costly but whether it will work depends on your target audience. I would think delivery in Singapore is much more widespread than in other Asian countries.

  5. This is not a easy task, first you must have your list of clients, then you must look for riders to service the four corners of singapore mainly North, South, East & West sector. So how much are you going to charges your client and how are you going to pay your riders, some prefer to be  paid daily, weekly, or half monthly.  So why not start from yourself first learning from others before you take the concrete step to set up yourself there are lots to learn in the courier field dont just think its about letters and  parcel it can give you alot of headache by not getting the right people to assist you to perform your task.

  6. It is an extremely competitive industry. Don't do it unless you have industry knowledge or have the money to hire someone who do.
