I am lodging my own tax return and i am puzzled weather i should be paying tax on my meal allowance as it was not taken out on my weekly pay slip? Thanks

  1. You will need to pay tax on your meal allowance unless you fully or partially expense it, which you probably have anyway.

    Tips - include your allowance as outlined in your PAYG Payment Summary. Claim what you expensed as your deduction in the D section.
