Doing the whole working holiday in UK soon, need advice on phone sims, and any other advice is welcome.?

the most popular mobile networks in the UK are Orange, Vodaphone, 3, and T-Mobile.

I would recommend getting a pay as you go simcard when you arrive, but if you're planning on calling home, call from a landline, or better still, use a computer with skype.

you can get simcards for free or dirt cheap on thousands of websites, so dont worry about that.

Just get any job you can get, worry about a good job when youre settled, make sure you have your VISA's etc worked out, make sure you have somewhere to live before you arrive.

I can give you more advice, if theres specific stuff you want to know, but I cant think of anything off the top of my head..

get ANY job quick and worry about a decent job after.

your phone should switch to a UK phone network on its own but dont think about phoning home a lot, that will cost a lot of money
