  1. I would separate the rats or feed them with a syringe to make sure they are each getting the required amount.  If you put it in their food or similar and don't separate them, you can't guarantee each one is getting as much as they need.  You could possibly use a syringe to force it down their throat like you have to do for some other animals to get them to take medicine (like cats, for example).  You can always contact a vet to see what they recommend.  Good luck.

  2. I do not know what drug you are talking about. Organic compounds are not that water-soluble. You probably can not dissolve 2.5 g in 2 ml water. To force feed, you need a special feeding needle. I think you are better off mixing 2.5 g drug in a small of peanut butter and serve it on some cracker.

  3. If you simply want to administer 2.5 grams of drug in a volume of 2 ml, and you have 6 rats, you will need 15 grams of drug in 12 mls. But you should always make more than needed, so why not make 30 grams in 24 mls, that way you'll have twice as much as you need. As a side note, generally drugs are administered to rats on a per kg basis, so depending on the weight of each rat, they would get more or less drug.
