Hi guys I am a artist/musician and I am looking to buy Digidesign Pro Tools|HD 1 with PCIe 1 HD Core that costs $7,995.00 which is in dollars has shown right?

Ok, so I went to a Portugal Manufacturer, that was on the Digidesign Website and the same product in Euro coin costed the same as in dollars which is €7,200.00.

How can that be possible?

I will give the Portuguese Website with the product in Euro Coin € and one on the internet listed as Dollars $.

Portuguese Website €------http://www.audiopro.pt/catalogo/detalhes_produto.php?id=818

Internet Website $--------http://www.usedvideogear.com/catalog/digidesign-pro-tools-hd-1-99001854400-p-2282.html

(Note: The price off the product does not change and retail price is $7,995.00.)

The true conversion would be $7,995.00--------€5,344.00

Can you guys help me to understand what is going on?

  1. Sometimes goods at different places can really be priced differently due to pricing strategies oriented on purchasing power (plus delivery costs) - though it may really be mistake or even scam.
