Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Masters on Smack Down
Chris Masters has the kind of physique people normally only see in comic books. The young superstar from Los Angeles, California has competed in many title matches including h**l in a Cell contests during his professional wrestling career. It was Friday Night Smack Down and it was decided that Chris Masters will compete with Dolph Ziggler in a one on one match. Dolph Ziggler who is known to be one of the most arrogant wrestlers on Smack Down is backed by the official consultant to Smack Down’s General Manager, Vickie Guerrero. Both wrestlers are young and are looking to make a name for them in professional wrestling.
Chris Masters was absent from the professional wrestling scene for the past few months. He came back on Friday Night Smack Down and it was his time to create a huge impact in professional wrestling world by beating Dolph Ziggler.
Chris Masters is famous in professional wrestling especially because of his exciting submission move called the Master Lock. Many great wrestlers have tried but failed when they got trapped in the Master Lock which increases pressure on the shoulder of the opponent.
Dolph Ziggler however has his own infamous submission move called the Sleepers Hold. This Sleepers hold has become extremely notorious over the past few months. Even the huge 7 feet tall giant, The Great Khali went into a state of unconsciousness when Dolph Ziggler applied this move to him. It was widely predicted that the match would end with Dolph Ziggler trapping Chris Masters in his notorious Sleepers Hold.
Official consultant to Smack Down’s General Manager, Vickie Guerrero especially entered the arena to introduce Dolph Ziggler to the crowd. She said that Dolph Ziggler is the future of the company. The crowd booed her in return. Then the master piece, Chris Masters entered the arena and received a positive roar from the fans. The match saw an energetic start as Chris Masters built momentum and knocked down Dolph Ziggler by hitting him. Dolph Ziggler returned the favour by choking Chris Masters through the top rope of the ring. Dolph Ziggler then proceeded to deliver a hard and vicious kick onto Chris Master’s face. Then it was all kicks and punches to different parts of Chris Masters body.
Dolph Ziggler then applied his infamous Sleepers Hold on the neck of Chris Masters. This Sleepers Hold stops the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain and takes the opponent to the world of unconsciousness. Amazingly Chris Masters broke the hold with his force and threw Dolph Ziggler away. Chris Masters then proceeded to apply his own famous submission move called the Masters Lock. Dolph Ziggler was fortunate that he was near the ring ropes. In professional wrestling, touching the ring rope means that the wrestlers would have to break any kind of lock or submission move. It gave some time to Dolph Ziggler who was desperately looking to gather his strength.
Then from out of no where, Dolph Ziggler executed his wrestling finisher called the “Zig Zag”. In this finisher Dolph Ziggler usually grabs the head of his opponent from behind and then smashes the back of the head on the ring floor. This is exactly what Dolph Ziggler did to Chris Master’s head. Dolph Ziggler went for the cover as the referee counted to three with both shoulders of Chris Masters touching the ring floor.
It was a big win for Dolph Ziggler which will help him become Number 1 contender for different championships. Though Dolph Ziggler received the win but he could not change the minds of wrestling fans as they dislike Dolph Ziggler because of his arrogant attitude. It was the official consultant to Smack Down’s General Manager; Vickie Guerrero who was happy on Dolph Ziggler’s win. It seems probable that Vickie Guerrero will help Dolph Ziggler to win the title gold in the near future.
