Dolphin Scooters?

What is your opinion on Dolphin Scooters? Such as this one? http://www.buyelectricscooter.com/12indotuelsc.html

I don't think this one looks very good.  It claims to have a top speed of 20 mph, but just a 350 W motor.  I don't buy it.  I had an electric bicycle with a 400 W motor, and it could only go about 14 mph on purely electric power.  My 800 W moped goes 20 mph.  No way can a 350 W motor get that fast.

The other scooter you showed me is much better.  It's got a motor twice as powerful, so it really can get up to 20 mph.

Well with these Asian imports, you take a risk of getting some factory defects, although for the most part these are pretty reliable, I used to work in a shop in LA repairing these and the only problems we encountered once in a while was the fuse blowing out due to abuse from the users, but overall they are pretty good and can actually get up to a decent speed, although the plastics a rather fragile and they really aren't meant for abusive use, id look for something better in terms of durability.
