Dolphin question? Please answer?

Are dolphins telepathic? I heard about a little boy drowning and a dolphin came to his rescue. I've heard many stories like that. I've heard that dolphins are sentient beings too. I've also had many dreams involving dolphins. What does this mean?

Dolphins are VERY intelligent THEY  may also be self aware  there unique and this may be the only  animal  closet to human intelligence From studies scientist believe dolphins do have some telepathic abilities This may mean communications between the unconscious and conscious mind also can mean an up coming problem.

No but dolphins are ultra sensitive to sounds in the water, and they can sense distress.  The same mechanism probably kicks in when another dolphin is acting in the same way.  Dolphins are highly intelligent creatures also.
