  1. Price:

Least expensive - Korean, then Japanese, then U.S., then European.  Our healthcare drives up the price but the Euro is high right now.

MPG: All pretty close right now overall

Style: Thats an opinion, I'd say European or Japanese.

Performance: Always up for debate, high end would be European, but the Japanese have the GTR and the U.S. have the Z06.

  2. Import, like the VW made in Texas, or the Honda made in Ohio, or domestic like the Chevrolet made in Mexico?

  3. Price: Import (Japanese)

    MPG: Import (Japanese)

    Style: Import (Japanese)

    Performance: Import (Japanese)

  4. What sort of cars are you referring to?

There is more than just one domestic car, and one import.

Cars are imported to meet certain needs or wants.

I live in Australia, and cars are imported for many reasons.

We import Skylines, because in Aus we only get the tamed down baby version. We also import the 4 door as they werent availiable in Australia.

We import Lexus and Celsior coupes and sedans as their is a lack of affordable luxury performance sedans/coupes in Aus.

We import Delica's and Hiace Super Deluxes, as we dont have a luxury 4WD van in Australia.

Without mentioning what design or stlye you are talking to, its impossible to give you an answer.

As a generalisation, most import cars have higher power, as there are less laws governing power output in Japan, where the majority come from. Most imports have a lot more accessories and motorised things than local cars. The downside to that is dearer insurance, harder to get parts, and more things to break. A lot of the features also dont work in foreign countries, or are in other languages.

Imports usually are dearer, as they are imported by a dealer, for a specific market so they can charge what they want.
