  1. what's ur question?

  2. It is possible.

People in europe use them for pumping water for their farms.  In North India people use domestic water mill from natural riverlets or canals for the flour mill driving by controlling water speed, diversion of the flow etc, particularly in hill towns of uttarkashi.

Only a little innovation will produce a lot of energy particularly near to a hill or beach/ sea shore

  3. It is an interesting question and topic. It is possible to have domestic windmill for home or for a small farm. I mean- generating 1 kW to 5kW which will be adequate for the necessities.

You will need a turbine. You can make it yourself with help of a welding/sheetmetal shop in nearest town. It may not be as efficient as factory made but will serve purpose. I think the main line companies still dont sell wind turbines for domestic use. The turbine will be around 5m rotor dia for the power range specified.

You will need a generator to convert the mechanical energy to electricity. You will also need a battery storage to store if you have not connected to grid.

If you search the web you can get lot of information on this topic. See the below link if you find it useful.
