Cisma expressed that he has observed Ronaldo to be very arrogant and was of the opinion that the Portuguese skipper has no respect for other players on the pitch.
The Cantabrian outfit’s defender was critical of the Real Madrid star player, and revealed that he had a bit of a falling with the Portuguese when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Racing-c40298 faced Real Madrid.
The Spaniard told that Ronaldo allegedly refused to shake his hand when Racing Santander played hosts to Los Blancos earlier in the season. He emphasized that he is disheartened to see a player of Ronaldo’s stature act this way.
Furthermore, Cisma revealed that he did the same with Ronaldo when Santander visited the Santiago Bernabeu to play Jose Mourinho’s men this past Saturday. He stated that he chose not to shake hands with the Portuguese international prior to the start of
the game.
According to Marca, the 30-year-old said:
"In our first game against Madrid earlier this season, he [Cristiano Ronaldo] completely ignored me when I greeted him. He has a bit of an arrogant attitude, and does not know how to lose. When we met again last weekend, I returned his action and did not
shake his hand at the Santiago Bernabeu either."
Such accounts of disrespect by players are increasing in number and reports about footballers acting unprofessionally have grown drastically as football associations ponder to create ways to decrease such incidences.
This is not the first time that Ronaldo has been accused of acting unprofessionally or treating his opponents with arrogance.
The 27-year-old has been blamed for his overconfidence and egotism during his time at Manchester United. Ronaldo was known to be one of the most proud players around as the Portuguese captain takes great pride in his skill and talent.
Former Manchester United star has often made comments claiming himself to be the greatest player in the footballing world.
