Dominicanos vs. dominca [country] not dominican republic?/?

0hkayy i havee alot of friends that are dominican. & i always forget to ask them this question :

Are people in the country DOMINICA latino/hispanic too? And my friends that are Dominican [dominican repulic] call themselves, ofcourse, dominican but i heard thats what people from dominca call themselves. Now how can people from the dominican republic call themselves what people from dominica call themselves without being the same thing [thats what someone told me]. anymore from dominica & dominican republic on here??

and do people in dominica speak spanish?

i might have but if they dont me they were dominican i probably assumed they were from

the dominican republic. lol
