I'm weighing the risks and benefits of this drug to increase my breastmilk which seized overnight two nights ago.

Has anyone used this with success?

  1. I do not know much about the drug.  Have you tried the health food store and natural ways to increase milk?  I tried fennel seeds and fennel tea?  I used that and it seemed to work great.

    There are a lot of different options of you don't want to use medication right off the bat.  


  2. Nothing will work unless the breast is also being effectively emptied.

    Domperidone and metoclopramide basically only work for moms with a prolactin deficiency in the first weeks of breastfeeding.  However given that you stopped nursing in the first weeks it might help.     Also I think your baby has functional lactase deficiency not a milk protein allergy:
