  1. Well, they'll be speaking Arabic soon, so what difference does it make?

  2. A difference of one vote and you'd be speaking German now.

  3. First its not Germin.

Also even though the bailed us out once how many times do we have to bail them out?

  4. We'd still be a British colony if not for the French.  I'd say we just repaid our debt.

  5. Do Americans know that without France, they wouldn't have a nation?

  6. Doesn't the USA understand that without the French, German or British there wouldn't be much of a coalition left in Afghanistan?  Don't we expect too much from our allies?

  7. First of all, it's German, not Germin.

Even if it were true, which it's not, why would that obligate the French to us? Do you run around saying "If it wasn't for France, The British would have crushed  Washington's revolt and you would know of Washington as a traitor that was hanged by the British, if you had even heard of him at all?"

Germany had already lost the war when the USA liberated France. In fact the US's role in WW2 has been greatly exaggerated by Hollywood and American politicians, it was the Soviet Union that defeated Hitler's legions, not the USA. And the USA didn't join the war to liberate anyone, in fact we didn't join the war at all, Germany and Japan declared war on us.

Your sort of extremely simplistic and self centred view of history does a disservice to freedom loving people everywhere.

  8. Doesn't USA understand without Europeans of all nations you wouldn't have a country or population! (Apart from the orginal owners!)

  9. So true.  It's kinda like the liberals not understanding why we have to have a strong military.

  10. They don't care.  They hate us until we announced that we were closing our military bases and leave them unprotected, then suddenly they vote in a "American" president and now, you don't hear any c**p from them, do ya?

And stupid us, we left the base open.

  11. We would be speaking German if some of our Founding Fathers had had their way. They wanted to make this a German-speaking country because they wanted to disassociate themselves from their enemies, the British.

  12. Yes most French people understand that. How many Americans understand that if not for France, we would still be bowing before the Monarch of England.

And that had Gore or Kerry been elected, Americans would no longer have the right to keep and bear arms.

  13. Yes, as a matter of fact, some of them do, but mainly the older generations that were alive during WWII.  I lived in France for a couple of years and had many older people come up to me and acknowledge that fact.  But it's not a good idea to go around saying that in France.  It makes you seem ignorant and arrogant, like they still owe us their freedom and should worship us.  (Plus they will just come back at you with the fact that the French helped us beat the British in the American Revolution:).  They're grateful, but, it WAS over 60 years ago.  Let it be.

  14. Why is it that our allies must always agree with us .. but we can disagree with them .... and remember who helped us start our wonderful country ... without the help of the French ,  there would be no U.S.A.  .They helped us beat the British in the American Revolution and The War of 1812.

They were a world power , long before we were ... maybe we should listen to their point of view ,sometimes.

  15. I think they might of appreciated 60 years ago when we were a mostly reputable country....

Hey do you think most Americans know we would of had a King if it was not for the French?

  16. Are you so self-centered who thinks the world "owe" us something? If the French doesn't like us is their problem. By the way, they continue speaking in French when the Germans occupied France during the WWII "Vichy" regime of collaboration with the n***s. French only show gratitude to one people: themselves. I understand them.

P.D.: And most people of the war generation are mostly dead or dying. The new generations of today have other things to worry about. Again, I understand them.

  17. Don't Americans understand that without the help of the French we likely would have lost the Revolutionary War.
