Trivedi is a bowler and Dada is a good batsman and his bowling doesn't really matter. So how can he replace him????

Sourav was a better batsman than bowler. (He was all class on the off side). Siddharth Trivedi, from what I've seen, is a good medium pacer-faster than Sourav Ganguly, but consistency needs to be checked at tougher levels.

He does not seem connected to Ganguly in any way and hence, replacing him is a difficult proposition. Let him enter the team on his own, and not as a replacement for the greats.

I think Gautam Gambhir can fill in the boots of Dada.....and about Siddharth Trivedi- i think he has to do much more to prove himself!

No way! Dada is Dada, and can't be replaced. Perhaps, only Gautam Gambhir can, but there is a lot to be seen.

Dada is unparallel and obviously not replacable.  But if you ask for a better replace for Dada, I think another Sourav (Tiwari) can replace him.  Another advantage of Tiwari is that he plays for Jharkhand, the state of Indian ODI captain.
