Question:

Don't eat meat much, not a vegetarian?

besides ham, i don't really eat that much meat, should i be eating something else to replace it?

  1. any type of diet can be healthy (carnivorous, vegetarian, vegan) if its balanced and made of things closest to their natural form. so if your eating ham every now and then, but are afraid of not getting enough protein, then make sure you also are eating fruits, veggies,beans and such. from these things you'll get protein.(not to mention fiber and lots of different types of vitamins)

    If you have no intention of adopting a vegetarian diet, then I really wouldn't worry about finding a replacement.

  8. Yes. the reason you need meat is because it provides the nine essential amino acids that are necessary in your diet, while still getting protein. There's an easy way to still get those nine amino acids +protein.

    In order to get the amino acids, you need to combine two different vegetables, that alone have four or five amino acids, but together make up all nine. To get the protein, you can eat things like peanut butter, dairy, fish, ham! and even some breakfast cereals.

  11. Well meat contains protien and protien is essential for your body. So if you can replace the meat with other foods that have protien that will help nourish your body it will help keep you from feeling weak.
