There is an email getting round saying don't freeze water in plastic bottle as this release cancer causing toxins into the water. It's supposed to be from John Hopkins latest research. Does anyone know whether this means don't freeze anything in plastic containers or just water? I want to know whether it's ok (healthy) to freeze yogurt in their ororiginaloften plastic) containers. Thanks.

  1. you can freeze food in the plastic containers,  but remove them to defrost in the microwave (use wax paper)

  2. I don't buy into any of that ****, it's all a ploy to save our environment! They were all sitting around thinking "how can we stop plastic production.......I know lets tell everybody that it gives them cancer!!" no, jk but If the whole water bottle thing is true I'm a goner!! Think of all of the other newly invented **** that we are putting into our bodies, plastic water bottles are not on the top of my list of concerns.
