Don't have permission to delete the file?

I downloaded a movie from Ares,it wasn't what I wanted.When I tried to delete it it told me that I didn't had permission to delete it...Just to be clear I checked the permission settings and everything is in allow.How can I delete it?

Right-click on the file->Properties->Security->Click Add->Type your user name->Set it to allow full control

Ahh, ran into that problem one time. I used a software called unlocker to fix it. I don't recall any problems and it worked fine. Here is the link to the host site:

You can also go to the original file, right-click it and go down the list to click "who's locking". This will tell you which programs, if any, are being used to lock it in. Turn those programs off and it should be deletable. Assuming , of course, that you have vista.
