  2. In a word, no, they are not subversive. And yes, every American should be taught this history - and I'm old enough to remember when we used to be.

    Almost every American would define "subversive" as attempting to undermine the government.

    But the federal government currently defines "subversive" as any organized group that could be armed. Not even are armed, but could be.

    This is why many pro-US groups are on the federal government's subversive list. I just finished watching a police video where two state troopers were trying to describe current election pamphlets as subversive. After they tasered the unarmed woman who wasn't offering them any physical resistance, it was obvious from their discussion they couldn't figure out how to do that (because no weapons were involved), but they did agree her copies of the Second Amendment were subversive. I just don't get it.
