Coalition forces killed 76 civilians in an air strike yesterday, most were children. Obviously they have denied doing it but why should I or anyone else believe them when we have been lied to about everything else. If this is the action of the civilized world then I'd rather not be called civilized.

  1. Like this one:

Chemical massacre of the Kurds by the Iraqi regime

If you don't want to be in the 'civilized world,' move to the Middle East:

Do you get as upset when they kill themselves constantly with tribal violence?

I bet not.  I bet it's an anti-West anti-American thing you and the Scotsman have.

(Oh, definitely what it probably is with the immature Fox comment.)

  2. Stories like this makes me Sad rather than angry . Who should I be angry with and why.  War is never pleasant and terrorism is worse as the enemy hide behind women and children and more sad mistakes are possible. Have you not heard about "Friendly Fire" causalities ? Do you really think that was meant to happen.?  Sad - Very Very Sad .

  3. Very much. This is so sad. Consider how many of us who live in luxury and a life of privilege have a hard time being rational and reasonable all the time and it's pretty obvious how, when your innocent family members or friends get killed by this rich mighty foreign country, it might seem like a good idea to join the Jihad as misdirected as that is. Coalition forces unfortunately kill more civilians in Afghanistan than the Taliban does. That's been going on for a while now while never defeating the Taliban completely leaving many ordinary Afghans wondering who'll be in power next year.

  4. i agree with you lassie

but its what America does best, they kill civilians. have the highest rate of friendly fire casualties ever for anyone.  start wars they can nae win and then blame others for there failures all while lieing to the world about there goals and democratic ideals

the USSA is become a blight on the civilized world.

  5. The question is why you would believe the Guardian.

  6. Yes, we are in the wrong and are just storing up hatred for future generations to inherit

  7. Guardian is not to be believed, see another source,

  8. War is horrible, but things do happen UNINTENTIONALLY.

  9. aaw. i hate to hear about children getting hurt.

    it's a war though. so sad = [

but i think when people die young, it's just God's way of saying it look less time for them to get it right.

  10. Good for you!  civilians are a small price to pay for their oil and control of the middle east.  Are you aware that the Americans used nuclear weapons on the civilians of Iraq?  The dust will remain there for years and thousands of baby's are being born with horrendous defects and deformity's.  And your right about Murdoch's fox news.  Rupert Murdoch owns 160 newspapers, many tv channels including sky and all news programmes, (they are not called PROGRAMMES for nothing) he also own a Hollywood studio. George Orwell used to work for the BBC, where do you think he got his ideas for 1984? Don't buy newspapers and switch the tv off! Research your own information on the web.

But what can we do about it other than getting people informed.

Don't be conned by politics. They are different horses from the same stable to con you into thinking that your vote counts, well it doesn't. Go to you tube and type in "Clinton Curtis voting machine" and you will see the inventor swearing in court that the votes are fixed.

Go to you tube and type in "the real John McCain".

  11. yes

  12. dont worry, Bush will have to answer to God. God will punish for every soul in this world he hurt. This war comes down to him because he is the ultimate Commander in Chief who gave the green light

  13. No, the stories that anger me are the US and UK sons, husbands and brothers who lose their lives fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan funds the Taliban by the sale of opium for heroin guess where? If you read the Guardian article it appears the number of innocent civilians has been exaggerated, but then people believe propaganda which reinforces their existing beliefs.

  14. I stopped reading the Guardian after the Toxteth Riots after reading a very ill informed and inaccurate article by some over educated left wing prat who did not know his **** from his elbow

  15. The hazards of war are not always pretty but necessary

  16. No, it takes a lot to anger me.

I'm more angry over the 70,000 Americans who have been murdered in Democrat counties (LA, Philly, Detroit) since the star of the Iraq war.

  17. There are no facts reported here.

Coalition led doesn't say who dropped the bombs, Western Afghanistan doesn't say where so it can be checked.  The Afghan ministry spokesman denies this happened.

Why are you so quick to ignore the spokesman but trust an unnamed source who may have a political motive.

  18. Funny how the American news networks like FOX haven't reported this.

In regard to the incident in Afghanistan you have to realize who's steering the ship.

  19. It angers me very much, because Bush's wars have cot the lives of innocent people. The solution is to withdraw all US troops from abroad , impeach and try him as a war criminal.
