Don't the kids today waste too much time playing hippie music & smoking cigarettes?

20 years ago when I was 64 I noticed more & more young people playing hippie records and wasting their time in foolishness.

Why?

And those aren't cigarettes they're smoking...

They couldn't exactly be called the kids of today if you observed this twenty years ago.

Oh you are from the old school, times sure have changed haven't they? As my mother always says, the generation of men today are not like the older generation, she is totally disgusted with today's generation of men. A lot of young people today are not as ambitious as the generation you came from. Music has changed immensely. My stepfather was from the 20's 30's, listened to jazz and his music was totally foreign to me, so I can see how todays music sounds so different to you.

Parents stopped raising their children and started being their best friend, separation of Church and State, the divorce rate is 1:2. There are many reasons why but it basically boils down to kids just grow up these days they don't have any kind of raising.

I don't believe a word of what you're saying.  Study your music history better if you're going to pretend to be an 84-year old.  20 year ago we were listening to Cyndi Lauper or Guns N Roses or the Pet Shop Boys.  Hippy music was outdated and lame already.

Or maybe you really are 84, just senile.
