I know milk is still his primary source of nutrition and when he was younger he would suck them dry, but now he usually drinks about 3-4oz every 4 hours or so...only at night he will finish his bedtime bottle which is 8oz...is he just being picky or is it because he's getting older, he does have lunch and dinner and I give him snacks such as cheerios throughout the day.

  1. Maybe he wants a sippy cup instead of a bottle! Might try it and see how it works! I know that I never took a bottle. I went from breast feeding to a cup.

  2. He may be weaning himself off the bottle.

If he is getting solids he will not need so much milk, and you might think about giving him water to drink and also a sipper cup to encourage him to drink rather than suck on the bottle.

If your child does  not like water, there is a marvelous thing called stevia, if you put one drop in the water it sweetens it.

Stevia does not rot the teeth or contribute to decay or extra fat,
