and

Light wanna clean the evil world to create a peaceful world

and the major thing is...

both of them screwed up... most of their plans doesn't go that smoothly as they planned

Code Geass and Death Note both do not include romance

Does not have a female lead character

They both include supernatural powers

Two main characters that have opposite point of view of justice and peace (One 'light' and one 'dark')

Both series also include some humor, fantasy and a lot of brains and they both are darkish and bloody

They have life-changing plans but almost always, someone buds in

I agree, they are quite similar because the have both gained this abnormal power which BOTH have restrictions to it. And it's all about big matters like taking over the world. But they're both great series... Code Geass would pretty much be like Death Note if it didn't have some Mecha Action.

But I like 'em both.
