I know this is going to seem pretty childish but .... I really don't want to go to school. To tell you the truth I love school but now ... it's just like I'm not comfortable on going. I know like nobody in my class, but that's not the reason. Education means A LOT to me. But I don't know ... UGH TOO MUCH PRESSURE.

Also my condition so called as ''Hyperhidrosis'' is making me to think that the students would make fun of me, I just feel so left out. I just want to sit there in a corner and cry. What should I do to make school more enjoyable for me instead of a nightmare?

  1. I worked with a client that had Hyperhidrosis. Same anxieties about school, too.

The kids did indeed make fun of him and he had a miserable time - sweatting and being laughed at. It was terrible. The more he thought about it the worse it got for him.

One day, he met a new kid, and the new kid had an interesting way of talking and he got really curious about the way the kid talked and started to listen very carefully. Then, he asked the kid about where he was from and the kid told him about growing up in the desert, where it's very hot and very dry because his father worked for a research company. And, he learned all kinds of interesting stuff from that kid and he became very curious about what other people knew and what other people thought and what other people were feeling and thinking.

And, that curiosity started to become the main thing that he was beginning to pay attention to all the time, and the people around him all started to feel really important because he was always interested and concerned about what they know and what they feel and what they think. And, everyone sort of forgot about sweatting - like forgetting to blink because blinking is automatic except when you think about it and if you're too curious about something else then you forget completely and it just takes care of itself, doesn't it.

So, the kid who was my client just became the most popular kid in school because of how he treated people and paid attention to them and genuinely was curious and caring about them.

I don't know what that means to you, but it was my experience with someone just like you.
