Don't we all owe a bit more than we'd like to pay?

But for the things we have chosen we're bereft with debt that won't just go away.

This is a question about life in general, not a simple financial observation.

  1. dark stuff for the status seeker.

getting off the wheel of life sounds good right about now.(not in the physical sense)

  2. we don't all owe more than we'd like to pay, but for most we owe more than is possible to pay.  the good things that happen to us are worth so much that most can never even begin to attempt to break even, but this in itself is a blessing.  the only thing we as humans can do is attempt to pay it back.  one shouldn't look at this debt as something hanging over our heads that we should devote all of our energy to paying back, but instead as encouragement to do good things.  many times the smallest actions can lead to big things in the lives of others.  a kind word or deed directed towards someone or something that is not accustomed to it could make their day a little better.  we can never hope to repay this debt, but if we focus even a small amount of energy into putting a dent in it then at the end of the day we can begin feel justified and sleep soundly.

  3. Not necessarily.  Some people give more than they owe for.
