Don't we have a world organization about "Animal Welfare"?

Because this article bothers me: "Japan might kill world's only white whale" found at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?xml=/earth/2007/11/12/eawhale112.xml

I mean we always fight for the endangered species and i KNOW that WHALES are one of the TOP on the list... I just can't imagine why Japan HAVE TO hunt whales??

I know what u mean , i have had a grudge against all the housing developers building onto these little acre lots (& larger) and not giving a second thot about the little creatures who habitat they are destroying, athen you see em dead on the street because they have no where to go, and do you seee anyone stopping to care for em hel_ no left for dead and the scavengers. Pathetic! huh! its happening would wide, different animals, mamals, etc. World Population needs to slow way down, start nutering and spading humans!

Whom you want to see living humans or animals ? A balance has to be maintained. Balance is the spirit of ecology and just not hating people killing animals.

right now where you are living was a forest someday in the past. If it was not destroyed where would have you lived ?

Japan does not NEED to hunt Whales. They just do.

its kinda like i wanna hunt PETA members but its still Illegal.  As soone as that is legal.  I will work on the Japanese hunting whales, which if im not mistaken they have done for what THOUSANDS of years why complain now?? Oh right so you can feel like you have done somethng for the enviorment and not actually have had to step oustide your little suburban ranch style house, expect to get a non-fat soy latte. ( man am i stupid or what???)  you leave the outdoors stuff to those of us brave enough to go to bear country. Enjoy your nonfat soy latte btw
