  1. My grandma speeds more than I do.  So does my great aunt and great uncle.

  2. Bad drivers do not discriminate. They come in all ages, color, shapes, etc. Driver's on cell phones, texting seem to be the ones I try to avoid. I am in my 50's, average 30,000 miles a year driving. I consider myself a safe driver that does not speed, uses my signals and does not talk on my cell phone while driving.

  3. The old person invoking your displeasure may not have anyone who can drive them to the grocery store, or the drugstore or the doctor's office.

Do you have a grandmother or grandfather?  Well, the old person driving slowly if front of you is probably someone's grandmother or grandfather.

Please treat them as kindly as you would want someone to treat your grandfolks.

These people have suffered through the Great Depression, fought World War 2 in Europe AND the Pacific; their friends, brothers and sisters may have fought and died for YOUR freedom.

So, be patient with them, they have done their part so that you are not speaking German or Japanese in these United States of America.

  4. No, I don't generally run across them when I'm commuting.  More often I run across self-centered idiots who are texting, surfing the internet, or yakking on their cell phones instead of DRIVING!!!!

  5. Not if karma truly comes around when it is my time to be a member of the "old people."

  6. I swear the god there driving is the worst and when they are steamrolling you with there scooters thats the line.

  7. Stand still.  Give them the opportunity and with luck they'll

nail you using reverse gear.  I don't hate what age brings

or takes away.  Anyone who can't claim being elderly is

a factor in their lifetime events need better age excuses.

  8. I drive on very busy streets. You have to be a good driver, and cannot afford to be a slave to the speed limit if you want to get anywhere. Most people drive over the speed limit, and the accident rate is still surprisingly low.

So, yes, slow drivers of any kind are an annoyance. Overly cautious drivers disrupt traffic.

  9. Who doesn't.

Not very many things are as bad as getting stuck behind an 80 year old lady driving a Mercury Grand marque on a two way street.

  10. dont we all
