Don't you hate commercials that...?

That advertise restaurants that are not even close in your area or not even in you state? Like I'm from San Francisco and they keep advertising this restaurant called Cici's pizza, also Sonics, Ruby Tuesdays etc... i constantly see commercials like this... i get enticed to go and find out that some are either at least an hour away or not even in California yet. Anyone else feel my pain haha

Oh, I know...its annoying, they do it locally where I live for Red Robin Burger or something like that? Drives me insane! And I found it was also an hour or hour and half away... how disappointing!

I mean... for real, who's gonna travel that far for just a meal or a burger? lmao... if they do with these gas prices, they're about stupid! haha

oh yes!..i live in Hawaii and i see commercials for olive garden all the time!..i love pasta and i cant wait to try this restaurant!

YES!  We must all hate television commercials & infomercials & public service announcements & even station identifications immensely yet only partly due to the 'location' dilemas.  It's the repetitions, durations & annoying content which continuously test our resolve to enjoy any program.

My personal 'solution' is to own 3 working VCRs to watch one, record 2 [all the best shows are on at the same time, different channels] all the time to 'fast forward'/'commercial skip' through all these horrible ads & avoid brain numbing commercials ALL THE TIME while boycotting things like automobiles, insurance companies, fuel companies, cell phone companies& refuse to donate a nickle for bleedin hearts wanting my '$upport'!  Yup, no ha-ha aboudit!  It's "hardee-har-har-har"!  But I'm jesta krusty ole retired f**t with complete contempt ferda key rap!

Yeah I feel your pain!  I love Sonic and they always have commercials about it and there isn't one ANYWHERE close to me! Probably like 5 hours away!! LOL. It is annoying though. There is a CiCi's in my town! It is actually really good!

Oh h**l yeah.  I live in the middle of nowhere, in a very small town in the US on the Canadian border.  We've got absolutely nothing within at least a four hour radius, so when I see all of these commercials, I get excited thinking that something might be opening up nearby, but no.  Oh no.  That's never the case.  

I feel your pain, but I doubt it will change anytime soon.

haha all of those are over here in New England so I can't say i really know what you mean. but they're all chain restaurant franchises so maybe no one has just opened those up in your area yet

What I hate is when they advertise a restaurant that you know is probably 100 miles away and they don't give the address.  You could google it, but if you are in the town with no laptop, it is hard to find a telephone book anymore.

yeah, I'm Canadian and I get alot of American commercials that advertise places that i can never go to. By the way, while we're talking about commercials, I hate the hair products ones when they say " and your hair will 'look' healthy." so does that mean that you're actually like poisoning it but it looks nice? I hate that, well yeah Bye! :D

I hate t.v.  on the occassions that I do watch..I also dislike those commercials. they get you hungry by their ads and aren't within a days drive!
