Okey dokey, this isn't really about music, lol. This is about my new high school that I'm going to attend this year. So anyways, I'm going to high school [as mentioned before] and I'm really nervous. I'm not sure how I should act or dress. I don't know if I'm going to make any friends. By the Way, none of my friends are going to my high school so that makes it even harder to get used to.

My question is::..

Can someone give me some tips for high school?

[By the way I live in New York and I'm going to Bronx Lab School]<-- yes I'm a nerd, lmao0o

Please no rude comments

Thnx in advance

  1. this question proves that you are FAR from ready to go to highschool. you need to be mature like all the other people who are going to highschool- your going to be educated its not a social gathering where you can do whatever you want... franky this question insults me.

    oh and for your information im 15 and a sophomore.

  2. Go to www.wikihow.com and type in high school.

    High school isn't that hard. You'll make plenty of friends if you know how to be one.

  3. I don't like being tricked, but I have to admit, that was a good one. Still, doesn't make me feel better about being tricked, but I'll try to be nice...

    Dude, that is not what you should be asking! Highschool doesn't have to be the nightmare people make it out to be just because you're not popular! Did you seriously just ask what you should WEAR and how you should ACT!? Dude, I don't care what school you go to and what city you live in! Just do whatever you want, and flip off anyone who doesn't like it!

    Here's a tip for you, if people like you because of what you wear, and how you act, dump 'em! Trust me, you don't want to have to learn this the hard way like I did. I woke up one day and realized how much of my precious time as a teenager I wasted trying to fit in. I made some pretty drastic changes in my life and noticed that the people I really cared about were still there by my side. The people who stopped talking to me, who started to see me as a misfit, those people were a big waste of my time.

    Take it from me kid, your highschool career is far too short to be thinking like that. Just have fun, even if that means being picked on by people dillusional enough to think they are superior to others... Believe me, you'll get over it once you see the light, and you might even get a kick out of it when you've completely opened your eyes.

    Enjoy it while it lasts!

  4. The same thing happened to me. My advice is just to be extra ordinary. Everyone else is probably going to tell you to be yourself and they'll come to you. That doesn't always work. Remember one thing no one knows you at this new school so you can pretty much be what you want to be. Be a little crazy, do crazy things. Also participate in a lot of activities (sports,clubs, etc.)that can also help you gain many friends from different groups of people. Don't be afraid to be different. I mean I went from a nobody to class clown my senior year. Enjoy your highschool years and make it last.

    Hope my advice helps.
