Don't you hate how people get stereotypes all wrong?

Like scene for example, thats the one that pisses me off most cuz scene is skater/prep, NOT CLOSE TO EMO and people classify it as emo/scene. pisses me off.

I'm glad it pisses you off, it's supposed to.

The stereotype has arisen because of the simple fact that a lot of scene/preps became Emo, and so the two stereotypes coalesce into one, and often this leads to confusion.

I fail to see why people continue to conform to social groups, when in reality there's something so much better that you could conform to - Yourself.

Not nearly as much as the brainless reliance on stereotypes in the first place.

People vary. Those who are incapable of grasping this fact, or who can't function without having tidy categories and rankings for every one and every thing need to get a clue.
