and leaves the nice people who are attractive in the dust?

I mean, who has the right to call someone an "it" girl or boy.

I hate this generic tan or trendy look everyone copies, it's so unoriginal and fake. yucky

Everyone should just follow their own trend I think. Because I go to school and will see 7 or 8 girls within 15 minutes with the exact same hair color or hair cut. usually platinum blonde or blonde and it's getting annoying. This one girl wears so much make up she's trying to look like a doll. yuck.

  1. No, I think it's very useful that it happens like that.  The ones that are left are the ones I'd be most interested in and compatible with.

  2. Well, yeah, we all hate it, except if we're the new "it" person.  It's only because people are unsure of their their own taste and like external reassurance about who's hot or not.  Social reinforcement plays a role in everything, from music to politics to scientific research, and both in how we think we should look ourselves and how we think others should look.  Of course everyone should be brave enough to stand up for what they think is cool, but most of us are just that sure of ourselves.  Those of us that are, however, are the ones that change the world.

  3. right ON, girlfriend.......!!!

  4. And that's why you should continue being who YOU are and not who you think you're suppose to be.
