Don't you hate it when people choose a dumb answer as best answer?

I have noticed that a lot of time people will actually pick the person who agrees with their philosophy and outlook on a said subject rather than actually seeking out the real best answer. Don't you hate this? If this has happened to you post a link.

I know what you mean. It sucks to put a lot of thought into giving an educated, helpful, and decent answer that considers all sides, only to come back to find that "YeAh lol thEy sux and ur rite lol" was chosen as the best answer. It's almost a slap in the face.

I just asked a question and had a lot of well thought out answers...I was geekily excited to see which awesome answer was chosen and it was so very lame...it sounded like a kid who couldn't think originally wrote it since that is what their parents told them was real. It also didn't get half the thumbs up as the many smart answers. Just 2 votes for best answer.

no and let me tell u why. life is too short and i have enough to concern myself with than who cared about the best answer on an internet site. dont get me wrong and plz dont feel offended i simply mean that the word hate is a very strong one and to hate something so trivial and unimportant makes me wonder where our society's priorities have gone. hate brings stress. love brings peace. peace is the answer. think about it!

All the time. The best answer is if someone agrees with the person asking the question. They do not want a logical answer. I guess ignorance is bliss.
