i only feel sad if it was my team i don't really care if its good or bad but normaly if they won that mean that they were the best at that time even if it was an hour if they won then they were the best at this hour

All I know is that today I realised why Pompey dont concede many goals - They are extremely negative, but you couldn't blame them for doing that against Man United of course

Haha, Pompey was the best team? In which universe? They barely had 10 chances while Man United controlled the game for the whole 90 minutes. All the chances went to United, United played better, United is simple the best. Pompey isn't much of a team.

Haha how can you say that, you CLEARLY did not watch that game, we dominated the game and pompey only had two shots on target, we had a definate penalty dissaloud, we had about 17 shots (most of them on target) and even one off the post and that is without our strongest team!

You should really get your facts right before you go posting stupid questions, or are you just a jealous liverpool fan or something?

The usual arrogant response of one of the teams that played today is either

1. its only the Charity Shield - we don't care that we lost, its the league that counts

or

2. we won again - why can't the whole world see that we are the best team ever to kick a football.

I remember a certain Irish ex-captain of that same side who said in about 2000 that they were not concerned about domestic cups only the Champions League - incidently they won the CL the previous season when they were not champions of the Football League. Yet only two or three seasons later they were desperate to win the FA Cup.

One more clue - they also refused to play in the FA cup one season, preferring to advance their global standing by playing in a South American mickey mouse tournament.

Just one last comment - a friend of mine who has worked in the Far East, Germany, Spain amongst other countries says that the three most arrogant, hated football teams in the world are  Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and .... guess who ?  And he's a Spurs fan. Oh and has anyone got any cleaner to get rid of the brown (or are they red ) stains on the noses of Clive Tyldesley and Martin Tyler.

We outclassed them but couldn't convert the chances, ask Fletcher. Also, Tevez should've got a penalty, but at least thats out the way, time to win the league again...
