Not if their prices are reasonable enough and the food and service is very good, to make up for it. If their food and service is no better than the place that gives free refills, and their prices are the same or higher, then, yes, I do hate that, and they are stingy *^%()&@$#!  (jk)  lol!

You know...I hate it that some restaurants don't give free refills, but sometimes it doesn't stop me from going there...I'll just drink multiple glasses of the free baby waters they give me.  The server will be running back and forth either way.  

Soda is a huge money maker for restaurants anyway.  It costs them less then 10 cents for a glass but depending on where you live, they charge between $1.00-$4.00 for a glass.  Ridiculous!

i don't drink sodas, but i would YES, that is the cheapest stuff in the restaurant, i worked in on so i know. my boss said drink all the soda you want, but we charged the customer an arm and a leg.

Yes and no, Yes because atleast your getting your moneys worth but mostly no because there are certain people that go back for like 20 refills which is ridiculous and also they shouldnt have refills for children, mainly because the amount of sugar in soft drinks/soda rots there teeth

YES! Soda's are such high profit for restaurants that it's really petty of them to charge. Sure, they're in a business to make money, but they are already making enough money per one soda.  I find it silly to charge customers for refills. A lot of times when they do that I tend to get a pitcher of soda that my boyfriend and I agree on to save money!

Soda will rot your teeth including diet soda; it will also ruin the enamel

well yeah, but if it is a fair price in the first place then ,well it does disappoint me but i can deal with it. i think it shows love for the customer when they do offer it.  and it is up to each person to make responsible  dining choices..
