Sometimes I don't get the chance....it seems like it is always the worst answer. It is always the person that least deserves it!!

Does this happen to you?

  1. Well if you ask the question, you have to get there in time to pick the Best Answer.  You have 3 days.  Plus they e-mail you about extending it.

  2. Yah I know what ya mean. Most of the time I answer a question thinking "I got this one in the bag" lol then they pick someone else, usually a dumb answer. Whatever, lmao

  3. i do not think we  should be able to pick the best answer to our own question. that makes no sense to me.  if i knew the best answer to my question then why would i need to ask the question. most people pick as best answer the answer they want to hear. the answer you want to hear is seldom the best answer to your problem.  i my self never pick my best answer.  if i just want to hear what i want to hear i will ask my husband.lol  when i ask a question i look at all the answers. if most are saying some thing different then then i was thinking, that makes me rethink my problem . many times i realized i was the one wrong in the first place. if had picked the one that agreed with me then i would be no better of are any closer to the right answer as i was before i ask the question......  just my opition.

  4. Not really.  I get picked for the best answer a lot, but when I don't I don't stress about it, it's just Yahoo after all!

  5. Depends on the question; if it was a personal one asking for advice, I try to pick the BA because I know what was and wasn't helpful to me. But if it was a question that required a factual response (for example: "What was AC/DC's first UK single?"), it's better to let it go to the poll; the more people that vote, the more accurate the answer is likely to be.

  6. I don't quite follow -- are you talking about when your question goes for voting after the time frame expires?  If so, yeah, but you still have a chance to vote.

  7. The right answer is no reason to hate. Respect the knowledge they have. We were all given gifts, and none of these gifts involve hate. That is a learned trait, Not an academic trait Grey Owl.

  8. yeah but i don't hate it!  i mean i'm not responsible enough or have the time to log in and pick myself. so i can't complain!
