Guy above me is correct - casinos love love love "counters", because even the ones who've actually got a little skill eventually lose discipline and blow it.  The vast majority have absolutely no idea and actually seem to lose more than the average "sit and pray" style of amateur player.

In over ten years of dealing, I've met one genuine counter, who could consistently win.  And we barred his *** within 3 days.

On a personal level, I think the casino's opposition to counters is short-sighted:   one player winning big on last box brings half a dozen fish to the table.  I'll take their money, give it to the counter and extract our edge as commission.  Easy money :)

For every REAL card coutner, there are 100 others that think they know how to count cards, they all try and fail, thats why the casinos still allow their games to be accessed by card coutning.

Theres a lot more to learn about card counting than just counting the cards with their point values.

For card counting, you have to notice how many cards there are left of each number (A2345678910JQK) and the probability of not having the right card to add to 21 for other people. I am one of the very few real card counters who knows how, but I don't.
