Don't you just love.....?

How SOME religious people basically tell you how evil, damned and hateful you are then end by saying "god bless you"? What are your thoughts on this?

Ugh. My (former) best friend was one of those people.

We were friends for years and everything was great.... Until I told her I was Buddhist.

Since I'm homeschooled she thought I was brought up Christian (well she was wrong)... So yeah, I got the whole "Buddha is evil, he's actually the devil in disguise, he's trying to trick you, here's a Bible, God bless you, and by the way you're evil" speech.

Eventually our friendship broke down, just because I had different beliefs. I feel sorry for these people, they are very ignorant. At the same time they're really annoying, though...they know absolutely NOTHING about my religion and they have the gall to tell me it's not "true" and "holy" and "it won't lead to happiness" and all this sh*t.

After being cursed and condemned to h**l by god's little warriors, it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over when they bless me.
