yeah i miss the good ol days of the mid 70's when there were long lines and 10 gallon limits and when the stations were sold out.

Heck, I can remember it at $0.30 a gallon and  I had to get all my nickels together to get a dollars worth.  At least now days I don't worry to much and just slide my card....

I don't think we'll ever see $3 again and THAT is very, very depressing...

I had almost half a tank yesterday when I stopped to fill up. It STILL costed me $30. I remember when I could fill my car up from empty for less than that...

Basically -- there's no SAVING money with these gas prices..

Somebody sure is getting mega money from this... unbelievable.

Yeah but i highly doubt we'll be going back to that anytime soon, if ever. Gas in my area has reached $4.20 (premium) when most of the country is paying around $3.70. My small commuter car is costing me $57 to fill a tank. I remember when a hummer would fill up on $57. Or way back when gas was $1.25/gal and if i put $20 in i would actually get some change for a full tank of premium.

NO. I miss the good ol' days when it was 25 CENTS a gallon.

Course, I was making a grand total of $1.65 per hour then........
