Ya, Trams are great.

Isn't wonderful that Dublin finally has a 19th Century level of public transport... again. But of course in the 19th century there were more than 2 lines...

Remind me why the government took up the tram lines in the first place?

I love it because it's much faster than getting the bus from Connolly Station to Heuston Station. I would have missed a train from Heuston to Limerick more than once if it wasn't!

I sometimes drive my bus along the luas lines to save time. Did you know that you can drive on the Luas lines when the Luas is not using it?

The tramway system in Dublin was one of the most extensive in Europe.It was dismantled by CIE as it was felt buses were more convenient and served a wider area.How shortsighted can a company get?
